The short version: an Indonesian pas foto 3x4 is 3 × 4 cm — 354 × 472 pixels at 300 DPI. For civil documents (KTP, KK) the common rule is a red background for odd birth years and blue for even years. Individual institutions (schools, CPNS, job applications) may specify their own color — check the official announcement.

Print studios often trim 1–2 mm off the nominal size — that's normal. For online uploads, what matters is the pixel dimensions and the KB cap the portal asks for.
