Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fix Your Pic (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use fixyourpic.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Photos you upload

• Photos are processed only to fulfil your edit request. To generate the edit, your photo and instruction are sent to our AI processing provider over an encrypted connection.
• When you use the website directly, we do not keep your photos on our servers after your request is processed unless temporary result delivery is described below. We do not use photos to train AI models, sell them, or share them for marketing.
• Your recent photo and result may be kept in your own browser's session storage so your work survives page navigation — this stays on your device and clears when your browser session ends.
• Photoshoot packs (for example the Birthday Photoshoot): the photos you upload and the photos we generate for a paid order are stored in private storage so you can view and download them from your private order link. Uploads for orders that are never paid are deleted within 24 hours; photos for paid orders are deleted 30 days after purchase. You can ask us to delete them earlier at any time.

2. ChatGPT and Codex plugin

• If you use the Fix Your Pic plugin in ChatGPT or Codex, OpenAI sends us the photo you choose to attach, a temporary download URL, a file identifier, your edit parameters, and limited request metadata needed to operate and protect the Service.
• We download the attached photo only to perform the requested edit. The clean result and a watermarked preview may be stored in our private Supabase storage for up to 24 hours so you can retrieve the result or complete an optional HD purchase. Our daily cleanup removes expired files.
• Your use of ChatGPT or Codex is also governed by OpenAI's own privacy terms. We do not control how OpenAI retains the original attachment or conversation.

3. Account information

When you create an account we store your email address and basic profile information, your plan (free or Pro) and your remaining credits. Authentication is handled by Supabase.

4. Payments

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we only receive the payment status and a payment reference. For photoshoot packs we also keep the email address you enter at checkout, because it is where we send your private order link.

5. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the Service is used (pages viewed, feature usage, approximate region). We may also use advertising measurement pixels (such as Meta, Google, TikTok or Reddit) to measure the performance of our ad campaigns. These tools use cookies or similar technologies. For purchases that originate from a Meta ad we may also report the purchase to Meta from our server (Conversions API), which includes the order amount, a hashed (irreversible) form of your email address, your IP address, browser information and Meta's click and browser identifiers, so that the same purchase is not counted twice. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@fixyourpic.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@fixyourpic.com — we respond to all legitimate requests.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure providers (including Vercel, Supabase, Google and Stripe) may process data in countries other than your own. They each maintain industry-standard safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
